This is the Miellerie de Ventenac Cabardès.
Local honey producer 15 km from the hotel
Around 600 hives in pastoral beekeeping.
Production of honey from Acacia, Chestnut, Lime, Rhododendron, Callune Heather, Raspberry, Rosemary, White Heather, Honeysuckle and Garrigue; thyme and bramble,
chestnut, forest and scrubland.
Values
This work is guided by a concern for preservation:
- The health of bees (choosing locations as far as possible in wild areas, treatments approved for organic beekeeping)
- The quality of the honeys is ensured by rigorous control of humidity levels, conservation at controlled temperatures, and mechanical processing to obtain creamy textures.
